well, I don't know what dialect she's speaking in that's why I said that she's speaking "Chinese". At least I got my point across, that was the point.

the cantonese sounds korean

she's very good. i won't say professional, just really good.

she's alright i suppose. i like her voice, it reminds me of boa's, boa is pretty professional in her singing/songs/vocals

i had no clue what the heck she was saying..

Oooh, I kinda like it! lol, not bad at all. I think she just did a cover of it,but if it's plagiarized, whats new? lol

At one point, I heard "Every day, every day, like a Saturday." lol, it was kinda funny.

Edit: Uhh nvm, the line was "Have a date, have a date, like a Saturday" which made it weird. But hey, what's an Asian song w/o a couple of fobby english lyrics. lol

Actually this was a cover done by Elle Siu in Cantonese. Like others have said, there's various covers of BoA songs that have been done and shared in the download section before. I'm not sure if the links still work so I've uploaded this for anyone that's interested in downloading .

Her voice sucks. Its unclear, and almost like...breathed out.
Other than that, I would say it most likely wasn't stolen.
Not that it matters, theres no way she's getting credit for it by singing like that.

I like it more than BoA's version. I understand most of the lyrics here even if they sound weird.

how do you know she stole the song? did you do research? Maybe its a cover or maybe she paid copyright fees to use the song. I mean it's not like BoA never sung someone else's song. Spark from my name is such a song.

Well many people don't really know the dialects of Chinese. Its is sometimes hard for people to tell what dialect your speaking, this is especially true if people do not know a lot about the language or culture. You can't expect everyone to know that this song was sang in Cantonese or in Chiu Jao, or Shanghai. Chinese is the generalized term for the spoken language, I mean at least they didn't mistaken the spoken words as French or Japanese... If you want to clarify the Chinese you can, just don't expect everyone to know that the song was specifically sang in Cantonese...

Seriously, pupluvgurl shouldn't expect such expectations of people. I agree with you, not everyone can tell the difference or even knows of Mandarin and Cantonese. Chinese is the general term for the language and I've never heard anyone but her complain about such a thing. I don't mind when people think that my family speaks Chinese. I'm not going to go Kill Bill on their ass just for that.

It's just a cover version. BoA's done several cover versions, too (Don't Start Now, Spark, etc.). So it's no biggie.

Hey, it doesn't matter if she ripped off BoA's song cos artists do that all the time. EG BoA's "Be the One" sounds quite familiar to Sugababes' "in the club" or something like that (i don't know the exact title of the sugababes song, but I heard it once before and i looked it up and it was released before BoA released Be the One...) Just to get this straight, I'm not dissing BoA or anything, I'm just saying.. the combination of tunes that you can use will eventually run out, right?

Recently i have heard another song of BoA on the chinese telly... it was i think Prayer.
I recognized the melody, im nt sure whether it was the chinese original or BoA original. Think the 2nd one... BoA's one...
and i kept yelling to my mom that she stole BoA's song :)
