What is the best laptop?

Both of the ones I have used have both broken in one way or another
that's what caused me to buy another laptop and got a good deal on a Lenovo Y510 and I have been using this for about 3 years now with no problems whatsoever. It's still pretty fast with starting up and everything.
You should look into Samsung laptops.
I've seen ones with very good deals.
One I saw could play blu-ray, 500 GB, 4 GB RAM, Win7. Seen nothing but great reviews. I think that's why it's sold out almost everywhere I've checked lol

I have a DELL and I personally really like it. I got a good price for it and it was brand new when I got it. It was half the cost of a Mac and works just as good. It might not have the layout the looks "cool" but at least it works and I can play any video game I want on it lol!

I'm with Cori.
I know a lot of people will say Mac because it's so popular at the moment. But I think it depends on what you plan to use the computer for. Are you using it for school? Are you using it for games? Are you going to DLed a lot of mp3s and videos onto it? etc.
Macs are hella overrated for what they do. You can find a windows laptop for much cheaper that runs a lot faster. Mac's just trendy right now. It all depends on what you plan to use your laptop for. So unless you give specific reasons none of these gets my votes.

I use Mac but I agree that Macs are overrated, especially these days. I don't understand why they're popular either. lol.

I'd say Apple...
If PC i would say Asus, if not i would say Apple.
However, it really depends on what you are going to do with it.

Pretty much every brand has their pros and cons.
Even more expensive laptops like alienware and macbook pros broke down for a friend of mine.
I like the specs on ASUS laptops and their notebooks are very good (except for their stupid touchpad... which sucks imo)
I'm using an HP laptop that's over 4 years old. Sadly, I don't think HP makes them this durable anymore. Mine is slowly dying (wifi is off and on, and i have a green line going down my screen but it still runs as fast as a netbook).
A samsung laptop might be interesting to look at. The newer models for some reason are running a 32-bit version of Win7 .. which doesn't make much sense.

You could always customise the hell out of WinOS and it'll look cool...
It might not have the layout the looks "cool" but at least it works and I can play any video game I want on it lol!
