I guess BoA is really evasive when it comes to those polemic topics.

even about gay ppl, who, I guess, are, along with gals, her main fanbase, she's talked little....

She doesn't talk about anything really controversial or anything that could make her "politically incorrect."

There you go.

P.S: what is there to "think" about? it's just another religion in the world.

BoA has been some-what public about her Catholic faith, but other than that, nothing on religion.

My educated guess is that BoA is open minded and most likely embrace all religions. I don't think BoA is a type of person that discriminates.

do you think it's good if BoA has a say about such religious or political issues? even incorporate them in her music? i think that will be interesting! aside from getting bash by people with different views, we can actually know BoA's opinions on such stuff haha... these may even spice up BOA's generic lyrics, not that she has to haha. wonder how will it be like if BoA is the one who sang lady gaga's 'judas' haha... will she get condemned since Korea has a huge christian/catholic population of people(sorry i can't tell the different because I'm neither, so no offense!)

My most favorite artists are often the ones who release music that does have a message but its not bluntly obvious and can be interpreted in many ways.

I do believe some BoA songs have a real message, but they aren't that obvious. Mostly concerning about female empowerment and the different views of relationships.

I don't think BoA will be a politically active artist, she has to pretty much stay neutral, considering her career spans 3 countries (Japan, South Korea and USA), it would be unwise to take sides publicly.

No Kpop artist in general that I can think of at the top of my head even talks about religion issues anyways, other than showing their own belief like Super Junior Siwon.

Yes? It is better for them.
I never heard a singer talk about religions.
Only michael jackson when he was moslem.

well, every one has the right to talk & express their opinions about everything. But religions is a pretty "sensitive" & "offensive" topic to public, and celebs i.e singers are the public icon, so the last thing they want to know it talking about some topic like that and get slashed by their audiences - aka the public. It is unnecessary, imo.

But, there are many singers/celebs commented on religions or showed their belief. Some name I can think of like Madonna, Elton John, Britney Spears, Kayne West , and many more.
