Ok, I'm really NOT sure where to put this :P Oh well, sorry if I put it in the wrong section~

Anyway, I really REALLY dislike video's with CRAP sounds. You know when you download a vid, the volume is so soft, that you have to turn on your speakers so high you'll get a headache because of the high frequency :P Eg. almost all "O" MV's of DBSK on the net has crap sounds. BoA's MOTO is really soft too and I can name a lot of other MV/video's too.

There's a programme for mp3 i know (mp3 gain) that turns on the dB of a song when it's soft. Now, I want a similar programme, but then for video's. Does anyone know a programme (freeware? Or something with crack plz PM me)? It really starts to get on my nerves :D

You mean the video's with the crackling sound when you turn up the volume too loud? Cuz I have a video like that but if you want one that can like clean up the sound for mp3s, what use will it be for videos?

ive had that problem too; but if u crank the volume up ur gonna get distortion

but if u want u can use Media Player Classic, right click on the video, go into audio and where it says booster... turn it up and also turn on normalize

Let's say, I normally just set my speakers on 25% to hear a sound (clearly), but with some vids, I had to turn on my speakers for over 50% which is insane :P I just want the sounds to be 'normal' on 96-98dB and not 70dB or something like that. I have an iPod Nano gen 3 and it's annoying to turn on the volume and turn it off again =_=;

It's about the sound of vid and not the video itself...

It does? I'd like to try anyway ^^;;

I use VLC~ And it does turn on your volume in a way, but I want it perminant.

The audio is soft so you don't get clipping after the compression. You can use FFDShow's Audio filter or AC3filter to boost it.
Increase the gain too much and you'll end up with distortion.

VLC can do it permanently.
