SG Wannabe Disbanding

05 February 2008 - 04:12 AM

Click.

So obviously no one bothered posting this up? I did search function for about 5 pages and nothing came up with this. I mean like. Guys. This is awful news.

I would've went to commit suicide if Jinho left because he is godlike but he needs the support of his fellow members. However Dongha is still topnotch awesome stuff you don't hear everyday. Dongha is better off solo than anyone else in the group because his voice is more versatile and pleasant IMO so I guess it's not all suicidal for me.

But it's still a bad decision because you know how groups are one thing and when members leave and members come in it sort of breaks the feeling of the group? For the rest of your life you can't listen another song without thinking 'what if blah blah sang that part?' or 'what would this song sound like with/without blah blah?' And things like 'it doesn't feel the same anymore' no matter how long it goes on without a certain person. That's at least what I think I would feel.

How the hell are they going to find another talent and voice like Dongha to replace him? It's not going to happen unless they get a different type of singer which IMO would ruin the feel completely. Their songs will never feel the same unless they're going to get Jinho to sing even more parts in their songs than he already does. I'm not losing all my hope because hopefully someone as good or better than Dongha will come up and fill in the void for this legendary group.

Anyway, this freaking sucks. I thought 2008 was going to be better than 2007 but looks like it's getting off on the wrong foot.

Alfa Music suing Jay Chou to get copyrights for 7 albums

Former company suing Jay to get copyrights for 7 albums

Source: FTV News; http://tw.news.yahoo...01/11/f6nu.html
Translated by: CJay (www.jay-chou.net)

After Jay's former company, Alfa Music, asked the judge to provisionally detain 50 million, they are taking further action. On May 28, they filed a lawsuit against Jay.

Besides asking Jay for a 50 million compensation, Alfa is asking the judge to confirm that the copyright for the 7 albums in the contract belong (to them). They are even prohibiting Jay from giving others the right to use the copyright.

Jacky Wu, the person who signed the contract with Jay, will play a critical part as the witness. The two people may even meet up in the courtroom.

Basically, Alfa Music is taking Jay's albums away from him and sucking 50 million out of him for compensation.

I know this news is 3 days late, but meh. Still bad news. =_= I don't think this is fair at all.
