Animation

23 February 2011 - 10:10 AM

My friends and I need to do something like this for a project presentation: http://www.blinktowe...abric-explained

Does anyone know how to make something like that?
Any technique name, software name or any suggestions will be very appreciated :]

We have enough time to learn how to do it so it's ok if it's kinda complicated to do :x

I think it's either made with Adobe Flash or with some kind of animation software (for cartoons or something like that) but I'd like to be sure before starting working on it

Thanks in advance for the help :)

Happy BDae to all the members who were born on January, 24th!

The happy birthday threads used to be a tradition on BoAjjang, I don't get why it has been abandonned :(

Storing music, new player choice & advice(s)

28 October 2010 - 04:15 PM

Hoy~

I would like to know how you guys store your music files.
As an audiophile, I use mostly the FLAC format to get the best quality from the CDs I bought.
I also have a bunch of mp3 (like everyone I guess lol).

So, do you guys just store them on your laptop/desktop computer? or on your mp3 players? Both? External hard drive?

I can't afford to lose everything since I won't have the time to re-encode the songs or re-download them.
That's why I always have a backup somewhere.

At the moment, I have my music on my computer and on my 60GB Archos player.
But I think the Archos is going to run out of space by the end of the year.

I started to look for a new player but the problem is that most of the mp3 players, portable media players (PMP) or tablets available on the market don't seem to meet my needs X____X

Most of the players available on the market have a flash based storage technology. That's why their storage capacity is too small for my music library.
PMP are ok but I can't seem to find a good one .___.
Tablets are way too big for a daily use :/

I found 2 products that could be ok:
+ the iPod 160GB (but I don't want an Apple product)
+ the Cowon X7 (but the screen has a really low resolution and it's only available in Korea)

So I would like to know if you guys know a product I'm not aware of that could make me happy lol :]

I guess this thread can be used as a "what I hate/like about my mp3 player" :smartass:
That will be helpful :)

Anyone from London?

28 September 2009 - 05:12 AM

Hoy hoy~

Mmmmmh...I'm staying near London for the next three weeks.

I visited London last saturday (London Bridge, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, ....) and I wanted to ask you guys if there are some places, which are more 'unknown', that I can visit (especially to take pictures).

If someone catches me in London, she/he wins a coffee (for the first two/three persons - depends on if I spent too much or not rofl).

Btw, I'm following courses at the Cranfield University, so if you're on the campus, pm me ^_^
I'm going to visit the Cambridge Campus and the Oxford Campus soon, maybe I can meet some cool people over there :P

Raid 1 | Server | Hard Drive

07 October 2008 - 10:36 AM

Here's the situation:

I already have 2 external drives and I have two HDD in my computer
I want to keep all my photos and data (Two 500GB in RAID 1 or two 1TB dunno yet)

A few months ago, I almost lost a external HDD (with many many precious HD BoA perfs on it)

That why I'm planning to buy this : [link]
And something like this won't be enough for the future: [link]

So, I want to know if there's another option since the HP thing is kinda expensive.

Thank You For The Help
