I agree, she looks a little strange. I think it's because her jean jacket is making her torso look larger than it is, so her head looks too small for her body. Love the jacket anyway.

I went to the movie for the midnight showing in IMAX 3D, which was really awesome! It was fun because it was mostly die hard fans of the books and movies, so we all clapped and cheered, which made the overall experience really memorable. I think the fact that this is the last of Harry Potter made the film more emotional overall, because we were trying to savor everything.

Overall I thought the film was really well done. There were some moments from the book I would've liked to have seen added, but I understand the time restraints (minus the fact that this was one of the shortest HP films). I thought the kids really came into their own for the roles, especially Daniel Radcliffe (Harry), which for me has been the weakest of the three so far. The actors/actresses who played the adults did a superb job, especially Alan Rickman (Snape) and Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort). The story flowed well and the film was truly captivating, keeping you on the edge of your seat the entire time. It was sad where it needed to be and epic where it had to be. I thought there was a little too much "tension alleviating" humor, but sometimes you need that when a story is so dark.

I thought the scenes that were pulled directly from the book were incredibly well done. It felt like the book had come to life. However, I wasn't a fan of the epilogue. I understand that most fans were really looking forward to that scene, but I would've enjoyed having a different scene such as Dumbledore's back story added instead. I thought the make-up was overdone (they're only supposed to be in their 30's), but I understand that it serves as a way to show the world has gone back to normal.

Overall I give it a 4.5/5 stars, only because I felt there were some items in the film that were straight from the books, but weren't explained to the viewers who hadn't read the books (the mirror shard, the mirror, etc.). I really did love this film, I thought it was the perfect ending to a great series.
