But!...this isn't going to be your regular EMP-Post-thing. For one, I'm making this thread both my Introductory Post AND EMP Post (<--Not even entirely sure what this stands for) Frankly, I know very few people in here.
+ My name's Andrew & I'm Canadian--from Toronto specifically.
+ Relatively older than most (active) members--just turned 22.
+ Currently on the last stages of my Bachelor's Degree of Commerce
+ Majoring in IT Management: Telecommunications w/ an unofficial Philosophy minor
+ Extracurriculars: BoA, JPop/KPop, Basketball, Billiards, Scrabble, Chess, PCs
+ Been a fan since late 2000--"ID: Peace B" is what hooked me in.
+ CDs: All JP and KR Albums, including OS Vers. w/ DVDs, + Avex/SM Asia BoxSets
+ Singles: All JP (JP Versions) and KR Singles, + 'Valenti' & 'Don't Start Now OS Ver.
+ DVDs: Both Concerts, History of BoA, 8 Films
+ Posters: "Listen To My Heart", "My Name (x2), "Shine We Are", "Miracle", "L&H", + Others
+ Other: 'Shiawase ni Narouyo' Book, "Naturelle" Album, + Magazines, FC Books, etc.
+ Data: Too many to count.
+ Thoughts On: Great place! Lots of BoA content and funny (some idiotic ) people.
+ Membership: Since December 2003; inactive member until last month.
+ ^ Why? School Commitments--went on a "logon, browse, download, & run" pattern for most of the time
+ Favorite Section: Eye Candy---because BoA's so damn cute.
Members: Your posts--they're entertaining, informative, annoying, humorous, debatable, absurd, stupid, appealing, inspiring, humbling, detestable, ridiculous, painful, precious, and last but not least...significant.
Content Contributors: I think your news/pictures/media files are things that invite people to join, entice them to continue visiting, and ultimately keep them grounded on BJ and addicted to BoA more so than they already might have been.
Founders/Admins: Congrats on a job well done. This place is great. You've managed to attract cool (and generally normal) people, form a great community, and most importantly, distribute and preach the good news that is BoA
And of course...
BoA. Even though she takes away a lot of my precious time, dominates my conversations with others (even IRL), takes away a heckload of my $$$, populates a massive amount of space my walls, constantly heard on the airwaves while I'm driving/walking/commuting, is omnipresent on my TV and PC Monitor, and is constantly in my thoughts---she's made me smile a bit more, which is oh-so-worth a lot. None of us would have congregated here if she didn't exist right? I count my blessings and she's one of them.
-- End --
