It also has a lot to do with JYP supplying ALOT of financial support toward CAA and it's promotions in an effort to get them to grind out this sort of deal. You don't get this type of boost just by signing with CAA. JYP is obviously devoting a MASSIVE amt of his financial assets to ensure that his Wonder Girls will be effectively promoted and supported by a powerful cast. CAA is a business organization and their style is pay to play...

i do not like the idea of the JB producing and writing for the wonder girls. Their styles are too different. It just seems like they just wanna attach the JB names onto the album to get publicity. Hopefully they go for quality ..... rather than leeching off of other american celebs....becuz the results are almost always sucky.

JYP is a freakin' genius.  BoA's being managed by idiots, which is why Wonder Girls (despite being less talented) will probably blow her right out of the water.

I'm rooting for the Wonder Girls to help South Koreans make a name here in America, but at the same time, I'm sad that BoA isn't going to be the one to do it first.

I think we all kind of just need to wait and see what happens. Just because JB is helping WG with their album doesn't mean its going to get BAM "popularity~~~" In fact -- maybe it won't! Sure, it might get recognized but that doesn't mean that they're going to be on every billboard and cover magazine and besides, even if they do make it first, that means it'll be less trouble for BoA to get on through with her music -- because she is much more talented than the WG. Anyway, what i'm saying a lot of people on here on buckling and thinking that the WG's are going to make it big first just because of the JB's famous name. We have to wait -- in my personal opinion -- and you know, BoA is signed with CAA now -- big things are waiting in her future too! Its not over. Even if BoA isn't first to make it big -- it will still be a great thing for the American music industry to finally reveal some real talent! Right?

Oops, haha i kinda scrambled everywhere but i guess i'm saying even though i'm not a WG's fan i'm rooting for them because we all knew that in the end SOMEONE would have to break this barrier and i don't care who it is -- BoA, Wonder Girls, Utada -- doesn't matter to me. As long as that part gets doen then the rest will flow naturally.

Here's a video of the girls doing "Tell Me" in English. Kinda hard to understand them, because the person taking the video is in the back and there's a lot of echo, but yeah. There it is.

I really don't like this. I don't want Jonas Brothers to compose any of their songs. Jonas Brothers are mediocre to me. Their songs are just any other pop rock group. It is just girls flock to them.

I rather have a major producer / composer do their songs. Why not get Timbaland or someone else to do their work.

I still have it is good for their first english album but my hopes are low at the moment.

I agree. It's just that honestly, as a fan, I as well as most of the others want the glory of being the "first" one to succeed in the US be given to BoA. She's the first Korean to sell millions of copies of her album in Japan, and worldwide. I want the same thing to happen to her in America.

Oh well, just like what you said, we just have to wait. :S

It is actually Papa J who after seeing them on Perez Hilton attended their JYP concert in winter of last year and then asked them to tour with the jonas brothers on a few shows. However, thanks to the great response they are now piratically doing the world tour.
