In October 2009, BoA was given the chance to star as the female lead in the dance film, Hype Nation, after Korean singer, Son Dam Bi, backed out due to constant delays. However, SM and BoA turned down the deal due to her busy U.S. debut schedule; the male lead role was instead given to Jay Park. Now another chance has been presented to BoA! According to Newsen, BoA is set to star in another Hollywood dance film!

The movie title has not yet been revealed, but we do know that the director will be Duane Adler, who has worked on other dance films such as Step Up and Save the Last Dance. The female lead role was written by Adler with BoA specifically in mind. Robert Cort is a well-known producer who has produced over 55 films such as Runaway Bride, Jumanji, and has worked together with Adler on Save the Last Dance. Filming will begin early next year in the U.S.

Meanwhile, BoA's 6th Korean album Hurricane Venus will be fully released on August 5th. Don't forget about PROJECT Trending! on August 5th at 11AM KST (August 4th 10PM EST)!

^ This is how feel. Plus I hope that I get another chance to meet her and this time be successful in doing so. But I doubt it since it'll probably in LA or something.

Maybe it's stretching it since he's already in Hype Nation, but I'd be so happy if Jay Park was the lead male role. A great male dancer with a great female dancer.

At first I was like...are you serious? I thought that this is just another rumour or something. But then saw that it has been confirmed (is it? I hope this is true though), I got so HAPPY~! Another AWESOME news~! Definitely can't wait for this. Wonder who will be the male lead....
