When will the results be out? Because I'm visiting my grandmother next week so there's no internet connection and such where she lives so if I win I'll lose the prize if I wouldn not be able to reply the PM isn't?

If you win, you won't lose the prize if you can't reply to use within that week you are away.

I rewrote my story but it's still about 600 words Is it also OK? I really can't get it shorter anymore! (>_<)
The original story was over 1500 words by the way xD Sad I can't show you all

I think we can give a little breathing room with the word count. I am not saying we will be changing the word count to 600, but we will be aware that you went over and it will be taken into account when voting comes up.

My story is 509 words. Oh gosh, D: 509 is a big difference isn't it?
I'm sorry, I couldn't shorten out my story. T^T.

Going over by 9 isn't that bad. Lets say, if your story can round out to 500, don't worry about it. That means, if it is 519 and you have tried your HARDEST to edit but can't anymore, don't worry about it. If it is over 550 and you can't get it down anymore, it won't be that big of a deal, but it will be taken into account.

The reason for the limit is 1.Make this contest more challenging then it already is and 2. We staff don't want to be sitting at our laptops for hours over our Christmas break reading short stories and poems, even if they are all good.

Now that the contest is over, I wonder how many entries managed to come in in the end xD kinda felt like this contest had a smaller timeframe than usual

I don't think we will be announcing the winner till a little after Christmas. Remember, we have to read every entry and then decide on a winner. I am currently still making gifts for Christmas and even have to work tonight, so I really don't have time to read and pick my favorites right away, and I expect Uni to be busy with work too, and Heartbeat as well.

Small time frame because of the prize. We usually just give CDs and singles away, this is a signed CD by BoA herself (also, I had to sing on SMTown cameras to win this for you guys xD). The contest needed to be more challenging. The last contest we had was a lot more challenging then this and many entered that one asap.

Sadly I couldn't participate in this contest , I hardly have time to breath during this week >"< The 2 restaurants I work at is extremely busy in this holiday.
Anyway, I can't wait for the result! Will you reveal the writing that wins or will just pronounce the winner? It'd be lovely to read all of the writing that mems tried to write with BoA's songs titles
