Those High Cut pictures were boring and ghostly, dead, no energy whatsoever. Whoever created the concept and styling needs to be fired like seriously, they consider those high fashion? What..?

I blame make-up and style. I want the healthy looking BoA from LOVE LETTER and LOSE YOUR MIND.

Harper Bazaar Korea was even worse. I mean really?! Talk about looking dead exhausted and dying. Is that the new trend in Korea today? Look like a dead dying woman with expensive clothes?

Someone get the stylist for NUMERO Tokyo and VOGUE GIRL Japan to Korea ASAP, these Korean fashion editors need some help, seriously. In terms of fashion, it seems Shanghai and Tokyo are miles ahead of Seoul.

Chill out . It is just a photoshoot for a magazine, it's not like BoA will carry that style for good or anything. Why would any one be fired for that if that's what they intended to do?
The concept is not easy on your eyes, doesn't mean it's bad for others, there are many people who like the shots ( well, unfortunately, I am not one of them ). It's called art and perception, I wouldn't say it's good or bad, it's just different.

Well I studied art briefly for a year and I think those were horrendous. Oh well (>_>).

Camera angles + Difference in makeup + Weight loss.

The only ~difference~ in "face shape" (that you could possibly be referring to)  is the loss of her "chubbier" cheeks.
Yeah it's not from this year, but still. You can clearly see that she's still basically the same (Obvious there's some changes due to maturing/puberty/etc.).

As for the photo shoot discussions -- the styling differs from typical "commercialized" type of just dolling up a girl in pretty clothes + makeup and 'typical' poses. It was well executed and if it wasn't... I highly doubt they'd publish it... (.__.)"

She looks beautiful to me in the first picture you posted, especially her hair. Her hair looks healthy

BoA should enjoy her time as being young and she doesn't need that 'classy' lady look. I loved her look in 'Energetic' era. Baggy clothes as she likes. Even short hair and ripped jeans in 'Identity' tour. As someone said this before, 'Milestone' promotions was horrible in outfit aspects. That strange blury makeup made her look older and those clothes.. That one jacket with feathers.. wtf

This was on 2011.12.19, what do you guys think?
I think BoA doesn't look old at all compared to these KARA 88-lines they look around the same age to me.
I believed that some of her makeup, hairstyles and clothing styles made her appeared older than her age.

Oh and I don't know if I'll be the only one here who doesn't like BoA's black hair >_< I think it made her face look kind of dark and sometimes when she does a blank face it gave off a too-intensed or scary expression. (sorry, please excuse my English I don't know if I use the right words but I don't mean anything offending ^^v)
I wonder how will BoA looks with Gyuri's hairstyle though..

I never thought BoA looked older than her age. As a matter of fact, she looks perfectly fine in her age, if not even younger than her age, and many people even not her fans agree that she looks younger than 25 too.

Who is Gyuri? The one in the middle? If so, I don't think that hair style will fit BoA very well, since it will make her looks older, like an 'aunty' , BoA looks cute in curly hair, but it should be either like the one on the left - which BoA had many time, or shorter, above the neck.

Gyuri is the one on the left XD and I think BoA has that hairstyle before (maybe in 2006-2007)

And I agree that BoA looks perfectly fine at her age. My stand is always the same. I blame the make-up and the stylist.

I hope BoA does a curly with lighter colored hairstayle again, something like in her 'Love Letter' or 'Dakishimeru' era, BoA looked sooo lovely then
