I really do not see what everyone is talking about, saying this doesn't look like her.

Maybe it's my artist background of studying a face, but from the first photo I knew that was BoA.
It's just make up and angle plays. The cover they used, she is just covered in make up and avant guard type clothing. They also used an odd angle with the cover, however, instead of being an eagle eyed view like this one, it was a worm eye view. Not extreme like this, but still not eye level.

I think BoA had a say in this cover shoot. BoA has always loved photography and also fashion and I think she wanted to do something like a pictorial spread that one would find in a fashion magazine. Something unique to look at, and also seeing her in a new way.

BoA has been known to have an interesting taste in style, she might well have preferred the ones that were actually used in comparison to these. We never know.
(However, in my opinion, these she more of BoA, rather then BoA with make up all over her face)

I was totally being sarcastic in the comment. Of course as a fan I do recognize it was her right away, however I do not like the angle that they took the picture, it just doesn't look appeal to me, make her face like a tri-angle and doesn't show any prominent feature on her face.
The only thing I liked was the flowers arrangement & make-up.

I love her eye makeup in this one. It's not too over-the-top bold and very fun.
