Hi everyone, any recommendation of japanese songs that are slow and relaxing? Other than BoA's songs, I only have songs like :

Utada Hikaru - First Love
Koda Kumi - Ai no Uta
Ayaka - Minna sora no Shita
Ayumi Hamasaki - Dearest
Ayumi Hamasaki - Heaven
Yui Aragaki - Heavenly Days

So can anyone recommend me other than these songs above :D

You should listen to yu-yu's songs like "Kimi to zutto...", "Always", etc.
She's great!

Why don't you try BRIGHT's songs? I love their songs.

Specific songs that are relaxing...
Yuya Matsushita's キミへのラブソング~10年先も~ (A Love Song For You -In 10 Years-)
CSJH The Grace's 少しでいいから (A Bit of Good)
Daichi Miura's Lullaby
Daichi Miura's Stay with me
EXILE's Sayonara
Yuna Ito's Tender is the Night
Yuna Ito's Precious

ARAI AKINO! I friggin love her music. She does a lot of songs for anime but her voice is oh so soft and relaxing. My favorite song by her is Ruby No Tsuki Hisui No Umi.

Jun Shibata is pretty awesome

Yuko Ando makes some chill stuff

Lena Fujii- bright like light (ambient soul mix)

Eri Kawaii- Toki No Kisha (her voice is amazing! sadly she has passed away)
Naotarou Moriyama- Sakura
Toki Asako-fantasia
Ego Wrappin' - 老いぼれ犬の口笛
Satomi Takasugi - Yukiboshi
Kou Shibasaki- kaerimichi

I like Bonnie Pink's early album "Let Go". There are a couple of chill songs on there.

I of course appreciate Maaya Sakamoto's songs. She doesn't have the strongest voice but I find the majority of her songs to be fairly relaxing. (you may know her from the Wolf's Rain OST)

Another person who is awesome is Eri Nobuchika. Her voice sort of reminds me of Mika Nakashima's (a little bit). Her whole first album is pretty chill and she really has a great and POWERFUL voice. Her second album was so-so but her first album was awesome. My favorite song on there is Sketch For Summer.

AH and I almost forgot about Emi Hinouchi! She also is a REALLY great singer but SUPER underrated! She has got some chill stuff. A nice ballad is "Grow".

Enjoy! I hope you find some songs in there that you like. You should be able to find most (or ALL) of these on youtube.

DEFINITELY Fujita Maiko's songs! Her voice is simply beautiful... you should listen to her songs "aitai", "futari no kare", "koi ni ochite", "unmei no hito", "tadaima", to name just a few ;)

... Yes, she has a lot of relaxing songs :P

And I see that you listed 2 of Ayumi Hamasaki's songs, she has a lot of other relaxing songs than these two :). I really like "Days" and "Together When", but she has a LOT more ~
