[Video] Yang Hyun Suk’s Prediction about Akdong Musician on ‘K-Pop Star 2’ Comes True
The second season of SBS’ K-Pop Star 2 kicked off on November 18, and talented contestants are already being spotlighted.
On the first episode of K-Pop Star 2, a brother and sister duo appeared with the name ‘Akdong Musician’ (Akdong means bratty or devilish) and sang their version of miss A’s Breathe
However in the middle of the performance, Park Jin Young cut them off, not able to kill his curiosity over the duo’s self-composed song, Don’t Cross Your Legs.
After answering Park Jin Young′s questions (and waiting for the judges to uncross their legs), 16-year old Lee Chan Hyuk and 13-year old Lee Soo Hyun sang their catchy song with clever lyrics, making the judges laugh throughout the performance.
The judges had nothing but compliments to say.
Park Jin Young commented that the group was a good example of singer-songwriters, as well as a duet done well. BoA marveled at the wittiness of the lyrics, while Yang Hyun Suk predicted that Don’t Cross Your Legs would become the number one searched keywords following the broadcast.
Just as Yang Hyun Suk said, Don’t Cross Your Legs shot up to being the most searched keywords on the real time charts.
Both Akdong Musician and its song have caught the interest of the nation, as they moved onto the next round.
Take a peek at the song below!
