haha
lol

OH remember that you cannot run more than
2 sticks of memory in dual channel, must be matching pair.

In a lot of cases, 2x256(512MB) quad pumped memory at 1ghz fsb
is faster(better system overall) than 768mB(256+512) memory at only 200mhz.
I don't have the graphs right now, but bandwith is kIng
..theres  ratio of ram count vs. Ram bandwith.
Getting both at high levels can be more critical when
running applications that require lots of 2d(hdtv) or3d polygons
Fast at once.

Applications requiring just large ram buffer cause the files so mega
huge might benefit from slightly less bandwith and more ram.

Balancing the 2 is best

For my case, bandwith is needed.
1 gb dual channel memory at 1 ghz would bemost beneficial

(not enough for Maya 3d, or HDTV  :P )

now running 512MB quad channel 820 mhz.

Where in the world did you get the money!?.......maybe its best if I keep my mind on my own business.  I dont understand why you need 3Gs of RAM unless your a multimedia graphics producer, but that doesn't explain the duel SLI 6800.

U own HD555 sennheiser??  ^_^
Do you amp them /source them with HQ components?  :)
cause i read directly out from soundcard is like 50% of its potential
HOw does it sound for BOA? does it have PUNCH inthe bass?
clarity in highs? or too laid back, not emotional? those are some
HI FI cans (well midfi) but still TEH l337.
I am not sure if  i want those or audio technica a900.

myth? lol, well its tru that working with electroics on carpet may cause malfunctions n crap... but the real story is:
the static electricity from u can "break" etching paths... but that really depends on how thin the copper ecting is...

in order for you to see n feel static electricity.. it has to reach somewhere around some crazy amount like 5,000 volts (i think.. i forgot the exact amount)...

i wouldnt say its okay to work with electronics on carpet.. but 80% of the time nothing will go wrong.
