'<b><i>Tomb Raider</i></b>' is almost a household name. The hit series created by game developer and publisher <a href="http://www.eidos.com/" target="_blank">Eidos</a> spawned a global cult following, producing such games as: <b><i>Tomb Raider</i></b>, <b><i>Tomb Raider II: The Dagger of Xian</i></b>, <b><i>Tomb Raider III: Adventures of Lara Croft</i></b>, <b><i>Tomb Raider: The Lost Artifact</i></b>, <b><i>Tomb Raider IV: The Last Reveleation</i></b>, <b><i>Tomb Raider V: Chronicles</i></b>, <a href="http://us.yesasia.co...id-1002851581/" target="_blank"><b><i>Tomb Raider VI: The Angel of Darkness</i></b></a>, and the upcoming <a href="http://www.tombraider.com/" target="_blank"><b><i>Tomb Raider VII: Legend</i></b></a> (slated for release March 2006). The games as well as the comic series proved so successful that plans were put in place for a live-action movie starring Lara Croft, the main character of the <b><i>Tomb Raider</i></b> series of games. Actress Angelina Jolie was cast for the role, starring in 2 hit movies: <a href="http://us.yesasia.co...id-1003851925/" target="_blank"><b><i><u>Lara Croft: Tomb Raider</i></b></u></a>-2001 and <a href="http://us.yesasia.co...id-1002954146/" target="_blank"><b><i><u>Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life</u></i></b></a>-2003).

<table><tr><td valign="top">Now how does this relate to BoA? <b><i>Tomb Raider</i></b> is a game that spawned a live-action movie; but here we have a live-action artist whose image is prime for inclusion in various games.
From the shape of their noses, to the perfection of their hair, to those gorgeous eyes that are one of BoA's trademarks (a la <b><i>Spark</i></b> "Cuz it's the fire in your eyes"), BoA's beautiful visage bears a striking resemblance to the heroine Lenne from the critically acclaimed <a href="http://us.yesasia.co...3/"><b><i>Final Fantasy X-2</i></b></a> game and movie series. There's no doubt that the producers of <b><i>Final Fantasy</i></b>, <a href="http://www.square-enix.com/" target="_blank">Square-Enix</a> (formerly SquareSoft), are deep fans of Japanese music company, <a href="http://www.avex.co.jp/" target="_blank">Avex Trax</a>'s, artists.
Even though, Lenne is actually based on Japanese artist Koda Kumi, their profiles are incredibly similar.
BoA's been featured in 2 games, <b><i>BoA In The World</b></i> and the learn-how-to-type game <b><i>BoA Lingual</i></b>, the Japanese rendition of her song <i>Every Heart</i> is used in the ending of hit anime series <a href="http://www.sunrise-i...c.co.jp/yasya/" target="_blank"><b><i>Inuyasha</i></b></a>, and her beloved Korean song <i>We (oori)</i> can be heard in the war movie <a href="http://us.yesasia.co...ection-videos/" target="_blank"><b><i><u>Taeguki hwinalrimyeo</u></i></b></a>-2004. </td><td><img src="http://www.boajjang....g"><br><i>Image created by <a href="http://www.boajjang....d></tr></table>
<center><table><tr><td rowspan="2"><a href="http://www.boajjang..../10lg.jpg"><img src="http://www.boajjang....</a></td><td><a href="http://www.boajjang....r/7lg.jpg"><img src="http://www.boajjang....</a></td><td><a href="http://www.boajjang....r/8lg.jpg"><img src="http://www.boajjang....</a></td><td><a href="http://www.boajjang....r/9lg.jpg"><img src="http://www.boajjang....g"></a></td><td rowspan="2"><a href="http://www.boajjang..../11lg.jpg"><img src="http://www.boajjang....</tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.boajjang..../12lg.jpg"><img src="http://www.boajjang....</a></td><td><a href="http://www.boajjang..../13lg.jpg"><img src="http://www.boajjang....</a></td><td><a href="http://www.boajjang..../14lg.jpg"><img src="http://www.boajjang....tr><tr><td><img src="http://www.boajjang....6.jpg"></td><td align="center" colspan="4"><a href="http://www.boajjang..../15lg.jpg"><img src="http://www.boajjang..../tr></table><hr color="#808080" width="50%"><a href="http://www.boajjang..../17lg.jpg"><img src="http://www.boajjang....g"></a> <a href="http://www.boajjang..../18lg.jpg"><img src="http://www.boajjang..../18sm.jpg"></a>
<img src="http://www.boajjang.....jpg"></center>
Gazing upon the following image, one's first impulse is probably shock. And who can blame us? The image of BoA in her new look from her 5th Korean Album, <a href="http://us.yesasia.co...section-music/" target="_blank"><b><i>Girls on Top</i></b></a>, sitting astride one of her male backup dancers, while clutching a sword, as if to rally the troops behind her into combat, is something akin to a scene from a mythical fantasy game. BoA and her dancer are almost in the shape of a centaur, if you look close enough.

Could her new image spark a following for her own comic series, or even an animé series? We can just picture the ratings, and the sales as they sky rocket as everyone realizes the lead role was modelled after the beat of Asia, BoA! Could BoA have a following like the spunky and witty Lara Croft? No one really knows, but I'm sure we'd all want to find out.

The entire link between Tomb Raider and BoA is also pretty weak.

I always wanted to "BoA in the world game". I never picked it up when they were selling it at YesAsia... I wonder if it's still there...
As for BoA's following... it's not quite as great out here as we'd like to believe it to be. Sure, she's one of the marquee stars for avex group and SM... but, she's not THE Marquee star.
It'd be nice to see a BoA based comic...
Her star will be on the rise, as she's taking some acting roles... her music is used in Dramas such as Paris Lovers... cartoons, movies, etc...
Only time will tell

although the validity of the true news behind this article is in question, it was still fun to read and you guys must've put a lot of effort into the article. I haven't seen the performance of the "capture" you have in the article (that is photoshop right? i could hardly tell for a second).
lol... nor did i know there was a typing game based on BoA
when do you hear <i>Oori</i> in Taegukgi? Could someone tell me what scene?

1 . I cant connect BoA to boob raider either..
2. But i do feel strongly about the Final Fantasy
3. BoA lingual is a game not available in the states, but mainly
In Korea and Japan. Some other places.
A black version and a White version is out.
These are rare and costly!!
4. This news is posted in 'articles" as well.

Ody, the Similarity with Koda is the fact she did choreography for Lenne and Yuna's
dancing for the game. For BoA i feel her profile is on the dot, but not the frontal view.
Thats correct.

It's like she's screaming "CHAAAAAAAAARGE!" and running into battle on top of her 'horse'. She just needs a sword to swing around.. XD Ha ha ha. I loved this performance. Thanks for the cap! <3
. . . Yeah. :\
Her profile really does look the same.
