I hope there isn't a thread for this already...

but anyway I thought this movie was awesome. I loved the action+storyline. I hear this is Jet Li's last martial arts movie ...

What did you guys think of it?

Yeah, it's Jet Li's last movie. He said there'd be no point for him to be filming anymore because he believes he proved his skill in this field, something like that. There was more stuff..I can't remember @_@ once I find where I got this information from I'll come back and post it. After I heard that it was going to be his last movie I was quite saddened, but I'll support everything he does and chooses! ^^  I HAVE NOT SEEN IT!! But I'm extreeeemely eager to see this movie!! Out of all the martial artists I've seen -  Jet Li remains my most respected martial artist. He is extremely skilled and has excellent form, that's what makes him movies look so good! I've seen some since I was a kid (XD Some were funny too.), every one was very much worth it.  From what I've heard about this movie, it seems really really good.

I wish the best for Jet Li!! With a happy life and future!! ^^

Hmm, i'm planning to buy the DVD of this film.., haven't watched it though..
Yeah, i heard that this is the last martial arts movie from him, but not the last movie.., he'll play another movie in the future but not in this genre anymore.., that's what i heard..
Furthermore, he said that he would like to use his free time to do humanity things as well as to enhance his knowlegde of Buddhism..(He is a devoted Buddhist)..

aww, it's his last movie?
i just watched it yesterday, and it was pretty cool, packed with interesting fights i think it's my favorite Jet Li movie haha.

^his last martial arts movie x_x...i think he's still gonna make movies though.

my favourite would probably be Once Upon a Time in Chine II. or maybe its tied with this one...i dont know haha.

that still sucks haha, i think no matter what kind of movie he is in, his martial arts movies will still be the best.
the movie is actually a true story too, but they changed a lot of stuff about his childhood, family, etc. but Huo Yuanjia was really a real dude back then who kicked everybody's ass for saying that the Chinese were weaklings (my hero hahaha, we really need another Huo Yuanjia nowadays, Asians are always being called weaklings and failures who are good at nothing but math.)

this movie is really good, the fighting scenes mostly. but i feel sorry for his lil girl.
BTW i don't think it's his last martial arts movie, i have the article somewhere, he said its going to be his last 'Wushu' movie since he already accomplished everything he wanted to. But his still doing martial arts movie.
Umm i think his movie called Rouge or something like that is comming out soon which has some martial arts in it.

ya this was a pretty good movie and this isnt his last movie he meant to say this was his last wushu movie and hes working on this new movie called Rouge where he plays a evil instead of good for once ^^

it's awesome, especially the fighting moves he applied....... very nice, overall the whole movie was good, but it's sad for his lil girl and that he died in the end
