The title says it all. the Nintendo's new system, codenamed Revolution, was given its proper name Wii. Wii is pronounce we. And has the same conatation as the word we, meaning together. Nintendo says the name is suppose to mean that together, wii can bring a new gaming experience. the reason for the ii is the symbology of two people together, stick figure wise. the dot of i being the head and the stroke the body.

So what do you guys think about the new name? Remember, the gamecube was codenamed Dolphin and no one remembers that much. personally i always think their codenames are better. but the name won't change that fact that i'm getting a Wii. lol, that sounds so weird.
