I have a serious question....   Ummm its the end of the year... break is here and my teacher made a mistake on my grade. I sent her a email and called her on the phone number given to me on the first day of school. And now (a couple of days later) she still havent responded... the thing is report comes out this week... The questions is... will i be able to change my grades if my report card comes out?..... That mistake changed my grade by a whole letter and i really need it to raise it back up to the correct grade....

Sorry to hear Brian..that is terrible...especially when most parents freak over report cards
If she doesn't change it on time...Adobe it or ask someone to? I hope she your teacher does take the responsibility to change it back properly on time though..

wait but u cannot change it after report cards come out? i'm worried because my stupid teacher never told me that "I had a missing assignament" which in this case i never did but she lost my assignment...

That would depend on your school's policy.

No, grades should be changed easily by guidance. Mistakes by teachers are not uncommon, and some students break their legs and stuff and can't make up work by the time the report card period ends. I truly doubt your school would have a "once it's out, it's out" policy. All it takes is an email from your teacher to guidance.

well she has to, its her fault if shes irrisponsible. either way if your parents are the ones who are going to be upset tell the and explain to them what happaned. if they don't belive you, ask them to contact your teacher.

well my parents believe me, thier mad right now because my teacher havent responded and i bet their confused as i am wheather to believe my grades are changeable or not after the report card comes out. :/ hopefully i'll get information from the office.... i plan to go tomorrow right before it opens.... i just hope they'll help me get some contact information about my teacher...

yea... i hope your not graduating? if u are, you're gonna have a harder tinme... if ur not, then go and change it after it comes out! GOOD LUCK!~

You will get the mark you're suppose to get and there's no reason they shouldn't change it.  Don't worry too much about it.

Yea, if the report card came out with the wrong grade, things can still be corrected... it's just a hassle.

If she still doesn't respond, call the school and talk to the Guidance department or the office and explain your situation, and hopefully they can get in better contact with the teacher.
