<strong>Update #3</strong>: Some people have been requesting a mailing address to make donations by mail. I will set this up in about two weeks time. Hello fellow BoAjjang members!

<a href="http://www.boajjang....d=274">BoAjjang Subtitles</a> will be having a donation drive for the next month, ending on September 27th, 2006. In preparation for our next batch release (yes, we're doing it again!), BoAjjang Subtitles will require more disk space and bandwidth capabilities to make the releases possible especially with a release that will be about 4 gigs (hint hint). All the webhosting from weblinks, bots and torrents have been made through the funds of the BoAjjang staff and unfortunately, they are starting to hit their limits. Since its inception, BoAjjang has never collected donations or had ads on the site or the forums except The BoA Project. All the work that comes out of BoAjjang has always been entirely voluntary. However, our work at BoAjjang Subtitles has not gone without financial expense and we could use your help! We are committed to maintaining the trust of our members so I will be preparing a new page on the site showing a donator's list and where the donations will be going to. Our goal is to raise enough funds to last us for the rest of the year. Currently, we spend approximately $20 per month for the weblinks. We want to increase our budget to about $30 to enhance our users with new features such as our own flash video player with high quality streaming videos of our releases (high quality being the keyword or else we would just use YouTube). Please do note that none of the members should feel obliged to donate; we will still be here no matter what the donation results are. If you do feel generous and have a couple bucks hanging around, by all means, please donate to help us improve our team. We will be accepting donations through PayPal. If you do make a donation, please PM me on the forums with the date of donation, the amount and the name you want appearing on the donation list. If you want to stay annonymous with your donation, please let me know. If you have any questions regarding this donation drive, please leave a comment in this thread or if you prefer you can private message TheBear in our forums. I will be keeping a close eye with the PayPal account to ensure that none of the donations are lost; please be aware that Paypal does take a portion of the donation (about $0.70 for a $10 donation).

<strong>Update</strong>: I forgot to mention that we will also be using the funds to buy DVD raws of the music videos that we plan to Karaoke. Having high quality raws is a high priority for BoAjjang Subtitles. Upon usage of the DVDs, we plan to make a contest limited to the donators where the prize would be the used DVD. Though the idea of receiving a used DVD might not be as appealing as some of our other contests, it just shows that BoAjjang Subtitles will use your funds appropriately and give it back to the community.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that we truly appreciate the subtitling team's hard work to provide us with such great subtitled videos! A donation is one the simplest way to show our appreciation, which is why I just donated some since we know it's going to be used for a good cause.

but i really wanna help. and if you wanna help me on my project please let me know! i swear i find a way to pay you. cuz i wasn't joking when i offered money for your help . you deserve it for everything you do. i just finished dl'ing all the latest subs. it's THE BEST! now i love 'boomerang' even more. and that FTTS video made me cry.

Your enthusiasm for this site has always been encouraging. I think I speak for everyone when I say we're all glad we have members and staff like you.

No worries. Simply by commenting, you're giving us moral support! Which I believe is more important than financial.

Please do understand that your offer seems like a busines transaction and that is why I'm so hesitant to accept it. "If you sub this, I'll pay you" is not the message that we want to condone or convey. Like I've already told you, if your music video is popular enough by the team and community, it will probably be subtitled regardless or your payment. This is a donation drive to help bandwidth and other associated costs with running the team. Thank you for your support, nonetheless.

hehe u spelt "anonymous" wrong in the donators list...

anyway I really appreciate all the hard work that the subs team has put in...i mean i really enjoy downloading and watching the releases!!! I think donating is the least i can do to help u goes raise the already high standard of your releases!!!

I am going to donate for sure!!! I'm new to this paypal thing so i sorta need help to get my donation through. I don't have a credit card but i signed up for an account and put my bank account number through. I'm thinking the only way to get my donation to you guys is through the thing they call "bank funding" right?? as in transferring funds straight from my account to BJs. i'm not really sure...i also have doubts about the security and safety of whats in my bank account...

does anyone know anything about this bank funding thing that they can share so i know how to donate...???

Thanks for your kind words and for pointing out my silly mistake. I'll fix that after this post. In any case, I'm not familiar with the Paypal through bank thing as I just use a credit card. If you are doubtful of the security, I suggest you do not go through with it. Though we appreciate your donations, we would rather you sleep at night. There actually will be an alternative to PayPal:

Some people have come to me requesting for an address to make payments through snail mail. I will set this up in about two weeks time. If anybody is interested in mailing me their donations, please leave a post here and I will PM you the info in about two weeks (the reason it's two weeks is because I'm moving right now so I don't have a permanent address).
