BoA, who recently celebrated her 10th anniversary of her Japanese debut, excited fans with a recent post concerning her upcoming plans.

Earlier today, BoA tweeted, “Many ppl asking me when I’m gonna release my next single in Japan… I’m preparing my single now.. So you’ll be able to listen to it soon!” Within moments of her tweet, hundreds of eager fans bombarded the star with encouraging messages, showing everyone’s continued interest in her music.

BoA hasn’t released a new single since “Woo Weekend” in July 2010 (though she did release the digital single, “I See Me” as a promotional song for Audio Technica headphones on December 6th, 2010).

BoA has been sorely missed lately, it will be great to hear new music from her.

On August 25th, SBS announced that BoA would be joining their illustrious judge panel for their K-Pop star discovery program, ‘Survival Audition K-Pop Star‘!

Representatives of SBS revealed, “Following YG’s Yang Hyun Suk and JYP’s J.Y. Park, BoA will be joining as the third judge for ‘Survival Audition K-Pop Star’. We’ve completed one of the best line-ups representing the best judges in Korea.”

The producers of ‘K-Pop Star’ added, “BoA is one of the first idols to let the world know about Korea. She’s definitely the best world star with amazing live singing and dancing skills. She’s famous for her sincerity and work ethic, as well as for her strong foreign language skills, which makes her the standard for everything a K-Pop star hopes to be. We’re looking forward to working with her.”

BoA commented, “I’ll be choosing the contestant who has individuality, determination, passion, and the persistence to continue to develop their talents.”
