up n down? oh the tone? nah... jap dun hv neth lk tt... some word can hv 2 means depends on the sentence... mostly the kanji is different but the pronounciation is same... 1 kanji can also be read in many pronounciation... lk the word 'kokoro' means heart... it can also be read as 'shin'... do u know samurai-X? there's a character there name kenshin... 'ken' means sword and 'shin' means heart... i think the chinese also read the kanji 'shin' as 'xin'... d meanings r same... the jap divide the kanji into 2 parts... chinese-sound and japanese-sound... it's kinda hard to differ them though...
