Canada won the hockey gold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's all I care about. If anybody was in vancouver then you can tell that we don't care who has the most medals.....the gold medal in hockey is like 10000 medals. People just went nuts downtown when crosby shot that winning goal...people were climbing on things, yelling, the streets were full of people honking their car horns. It was the most magnificent game of all time. We canadians completely lost it...but we had every good reason to!!!!

Guys I don't want to be mean, but she failed this time around in America. Her album has come out for more then half a year.
She sold like what? Less than 20k? Most likely that was only her fans purchasing her album.
She scratched the market barely...maybe, but she still failed.
When you make three (four?) MVs to promote a single album, and that album cannot even more then her last single single in Japan, which I believe Eien sold around 25k, I don't know what you can call that but a fail. I doubt too many new fans emerged from her trip to America.
Get over it and hope for the better the next time BoA comes to America.

I agree completely. She is barely mentioned in the media. And those interviews/performances she's been on....are arranged by SM. I doubt they personally sought her out.
Also...in my opinion...her album wasn't that great except for her "i did it for love" MV. That should have been her first single. 'Eat you up' MV was an eyesore. Both MV versions were horrid. And i don't even wanna talk about her clothing choices.....ugh. I can understand why the Wonder girls did better (but not by much). They had a catchy single with catchy dance moves that was crazy popular in Korea and all over asia. They were even sought out by the jonas brothers management...JYP didn't go and beg to tour with them....SM on the other hand probably had to use their influence to get boa on US shows. I love boa....but she needs to re-establish her base in Korea....the country that made her popular in the first place. Her popularity in Korea is diminishing. If she can't sustain her popularity in her own country, how is she gonna make it around the world.

i do not like the idea of the JB producing and writing for the wonder girls. Their styles are too different. It just seems like they just wanna attach the JB names onto the album to get publicity. Hopefully they go for quality ..... rather than leeching off of other american celebs....becuz the results are almost always sucky.
